Ready-made ongoing education
Provide useful fraud-prevention content every month without asking your staff to research, write, design, and present it internally.
For credit unions and their members
ScamBomb gives your credit union a ready-made monthly member education and protection program. Members receive timely scam updates, printable family worksheets, live Zoom workshops, practical senior technology guides, and access to scam-checking tools when something feels wrong.
For your institution, that means ongoing fraud education without requiring your staff to create and maintain every resource internally—helping protect member savings, reduce pressure on frontline teams, and strengthen member trust.
Discuss a Partnership →Which call would your team rather receive?
A member thanking you for helping them stop a scam—or a devastated member asking what can be done after the money is gone?
ScamBomb helps make the next call a thank-you—not a fraud report.
Did you know the average reported loss for a fraud victim over 60 was a staggering $38,500 in 2025?
According to the FBI’s 2025 IC3 Annual Report, older Americans reported more than $7.7 billion in total losses—making fraud prevention one of the most urgent member-education challenges facing credit unions today.
The threat is personal
Behind the reported losses are members who believed they were helping a grandchild, protecting a compromised bank account, paying a legitimate business, accepting a job, or responding to someone they trusted.
By the time a fraudulent payment reaches a credit union, the member may already be convinced that the request is legitimate. Scammers create urgency, impersonate trusted organizations, exploit family relationships, and increasingly use AI-generated voices, images, and messages to make their stories more believable.

Why credit unions partner with ScamBomb
Provide useful fraud-prevention content every month without asking your staff to research, write, design, and present it internally.
Give members a resource they can consult while they are still deciding what to do—before they click, reply, or send money.
Better-informed members may help reduce avoidable calls, disputes, confusion, and pressure on frontline employees.
Provide practical protection members can use personally and share with the family members who help protect them.
Show older adults and local families that your credit union is actively helping them respond to one of today’s most damaging financial threats.
Bonus
Members also receive step-by-step guides for common senior technology challenges. Every guide uses plain English, printable instructions, and follow-along steps that members can use independently or with help from family.
It’s additional value members will continue to use—and associate with your institution.
Protection works better together
Many older adults turn first to an adult child, caregiver, or trusted family member when something feels wrong. ScamBomb supports both sides of that relationship:
Designed to complement your team
ScamBomb does not access member accounts, authorize transactions, move money, or replace your fraud department. It helps members recognize suspicious situations before they become completed transactions.
Partnership access can be structured without requiring the credit union to share members’ private banking information with ScamBomb.
A straightforward monthly partnership
Twelve-month partnership, billed monthly. All recurring member-education deliverables are included. In-person workshops are quoted separately.
ScamBomb education has already been delivered through an in-person workshop and multiple Zoom presentations. Every presentation and resource is designed around the same principle: fraud education should be calm, practical, and understandable to people who do not consider themselves technology experts.
ScamBomb avoids technical jargon and unnecessary fear. Members learn what warning signs to watch for, what actions to avoid, and where to turn when they are unsure.
Questions credit unions ask
ScamBomb supports existing fraud-prevention efforts by providing education and a first line of guidance before a member completes a potentially fraudulent transaction. It does not replace your fraud department.
No. ScamBomb does not access member accounts, authorize transactions, or move money. It does not require access to account or transaction information to provide educational resources and scam-checking tools. Partnership access can be structured without the credit union sharing member personally identifiable information.
Every partnership includes a monthly live Zoom workshop with member Q&A. In-person presentations can also be arranged for an additional fee.
Members receive a timely scam-prevention email, a printable family worksheet, a live Zoom workshop, ongoing educational resources, senior technology guides, and access to ScamBomb’s scam-checking tools.
Partnerships are based on the number of covered members and run for 12 months, billed monthly. Plans begin at $1,250 per month for up to 2,000 covered members.
ScamBomb is designed especially for older adults and the adult children and caregivers who help protect them, but its education and scam-checking tools can benefit members of any age.
